Is it just me, or does Phoenix have the stupidest "mascot" and the ugliest, weirdest uniforms???

I guess they wore their away or 3rd last night (the one that's doo-doo brown with their stupid mascot and all the weird fringe and crap on it). graemlins/icon_wtf.gif

Their mascot is ugly, their jerseys are ugly and I think everybody on the team must be gay because they suck dick. I live here and I can't even stand them. I mean the "Coyotes" come on let's name our team after a scavenging animal, I think the scorpions would have been a better name but that one took second in the voting when they came to town. Granted #99 is part owner but the only way these guys are going to have a chance at making it out of the first round of the playoffs (if they make it at all) is if "The Great One " himself starts playing again. We should have gotten an expansion team then a least we would have an excuse for sucking so bad.

I miss Claude Lemiux! I met him when he was still a Avalanche at the airport. I was coming home from LA and was riding first class (ahhh free upgrades). Well I get completly trashed because this is the first time I ever rode 1st class and the free drinks had me in awe. Well the flight goes well and everything. I meet my parents at the baggage claim and I look over to my right. Low and behold Claude was on my same flight and in 1st class! I did not even notice I was so hammered. I went up to him and just said I did not want to take any of his time but I just wanted to say hi and shake his hand. He was cool and thanked me for being so polite (even though I was wasted). His wife is so fine also!!!

I like the uniform, and i LOVE the team... You can not fuck with Winnipeg!.....
but there new look rocks, and the games (have gone to 1 home game every year and they ROCK the house... good vibe down there!

Play hard and play tough in the gray area, but I have no respect for someone who wants to end your career. He had enough talent to be a threatening player. Old school hockey players would have beat the shit out of him every night. Bettman now protects assholes like Claude.

Just because a player is an ass on the ice, doesn't mean he is off the ice. Case in point, I can't stand Scott Parker (Avalanche) because of his actions on the ice when he was in juniors. But the stories of the great things he did off the ice in Kelowna almost make up for the things he pulled.
Also, the Redwings could fall off the planet and the NHL would be a better league. graemlins/thumbup.gif
