Signed up at Penguin Racing for the 2 day class at Louden. This will be the first time I'm on a track. Starting to get the bike ready now. I'm taking all my new bodywork off. Got a used tank comming, ordering some bodywork from godfather racing, I need tires anyway. Question, what fasteners for your body work? What type fairing stay are you using? Mirror block offs? Tires? Anything you guys can think of that I need would help. Giving myself some time to prepare. Also, how about a back protector. I've got a first gear leather jacket, oxtar tcs boots, first gear leather pants A-star sp3 gloves and racer 1 helmet. Thanks guys http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

you will need dzus fastners for the bodywork, a race upper fairing stay (gptech is a good choice), you wont need mirror block offs, get some good take-offs or if your budget allows get new tires... preferably race dots, you will need the back protector and your gear sounds fine as long as your jacket and pants zip together via the 180 degree zipper if they have it....... if not get a decent 1 piece suit. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I don't know what model boots your are.... but make sure they don't have those lame Titanium Toe sliders.. They drag on the ground and spark.. NOT GOOD

I hope this not their race licensing school???
You should not be taking the race licensing school if you have never been on the track.
If this is just an advanced riding course, EXCELLENT and have fun.
Everything else sounds good. If you can't get new or take off race tires don't worry, For you first time on the track street tires will be fine.
I did quite a few trackdays on D207 ZR with a GSXR 1000 and never got passed in the intermediate group. But been passed plenty when I moved up to the Advanced (racer) group.
