i just recently finished mounting 4 led lights under the bike look down at the road. i installed a tilt switch on the 4 lights so when the bike hits 15º (start of a wheelie) the lights turn on, when the bike goes back down on flat surface the lights turn off. only bad part is when u go up and down a hill thats more than 15º the lights will turn on because of the tilt switch.. pretty cool mod will have pics up soon...

pics of old lights.. i decided to get new ones radio shack mounts part #276-080 with light #276-316 i went with the blue led's cause my bike is blue...

where did you get the lights from?

ok, I should have read...Radio shack. Are they pretty bright at night (looking for the neon effect but without the pull of neon)

mount part #276-080, led #276-316 with a 1/2 watt 270ohm resistor tied into each light to drop the volts down to 5v... i also drilled 2 into under the rear seat (up towards the battery a lil bit so i diddnt take any out OUR HUGE storage room) looking down towards the rear tire.... the lights arnt "tooo" bright but im not the one to be driving tdown the road with blinking neons to the music http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif, that is why i wired them into a tilt switch. if anyone wants a wiring diagram i can make one up but it will take a lil time(no big deal) in a nutshell there are 3 total switches to the lights, a tilt switch that triggers at a 9º angle, a tilt override switch and a series override switch.. hard to exaplin but i can turn the lights on and off as i please or i can put it so it just turns on at a 9º angle or i can turn it all off so they would never come on.... its all wired to the ignition so its dummy proof whenever i turn the key off the lights go off... if anyone wants anymore pics just let me know
