Simon Orttan 10-25-2002, 02:13 AM Let me out on the ice this winter. For years I've played pick-up games here in the city parks. They set the boards up last week and if it ever gets cold enough they flood the ground until it is thick enough to skate on. The last 3 years it's been cold enough for almost 3 consecutive weeks of skating. Damn global warming. But with my luck it will be cold enough from Halloween until Easter but can I get on the ice? They are not the best in thier AA but they are scrappy as hell and mucho fun to see. One of these days I should go up there and play in a pick up. I am pretty good inline wise and have most of the equipment.
