IŽve got an imported gixxer 1100 -94 (from germany to sweden) with some scratches in the fuel tank, ie it needs new paint asap. The thing is that the colour of my bike, purple-ish metallic, didŽnt appear on the swedish market which means the it might be hard to get the colour codes from the company that represents Suzuki in Sweden.

Is there any other way i can get a hold of these codes so i get the original colour?

Best thing I could recomend is to take a sample piece with the color you want to a paint store to match it. That way they can adjust for paint fade, and when you paint the tank it will match right up. I did this with my Corvette, and Katana.

By sample, I mean take something from your bike to them. Even if it means taking the tank to the paint shop so they can use that. I took the gas door off my Corvette, and the oil filler cover off my Kat. They used a computer to scan the color and it figured out what mixture would match. The Kat is the black with blue pearl color and it matched perfectly when done. Ask around at some local body shops where they get their paints from.
