kneedragon, ccs is a racing org. different than nesba.. go to www.nesba.com (http://www.nesba.com) for more information on requirements, and etc.. nothing like the track, and nesba is a great org. to get on there with.

Sup everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. I've never officially said hi to the group and this was my first trackday with Nesba and my third overall track day. Thank you Gixxer.com and Nesba for making that trackday FREEEEEEEEEE!!!

My 1st TD was with TPM at Summit JC last year, my 2nd with TPM the day before (3/11) on the VIR North Track.

I must say Nesba ran like a well-oiled machine as far as being on time and on point. The Control Riders also seemed alot more interested in being a CR than getting 'free track time'.

I am teammates with Morpehus and Cannon, which many of you may already know. They are both gixxer riders (gix1000 & gix750) and I'm a R1 rider myself. I was rider on the #17 Burgundy 04 R1. I was only able to participate in TWO of the sessions, and only in the intermediate group that day due to:

1) exhaustion from race certification class the day before with TPM on the VIR North track..

2) my rear shock had to be resprung and replaced the morning of 3/12. So my only sessions were the ones right after lunch.

I was very pleased with the pace of the Intermediate class, and the overall 'feel' of the pack. I wouldnt consider myself a fast rider, but definitely felt comfortable with everything I saw and was able to accomplish in that group. I was hoping to get alot more experience that day, but I guess it will be a 'next time' thing.

Hopefully I'll see you guys in the I group again at Summit Main on the 25th of April. Im definitely a fan of Nesba, will have my bike completely safety wired this time around and look to be bumped to the ADVANCED group.. :0)

Nesba 629 what are you doing over here playing around with the Gixxerboyz.. you still have the sweetest picture ever with that knee on the ground and finger in the air for #1.. it looks like you just passed Rossi to take the checkered flag and you are on your parade lap to celebrate.. Pretty cool we have the same track bike, hopefully if I make it down to Road ATL or Barber for a trackday/raceday with Nesba or Wera we'll get to finally meet.. The girls name is Storm she's pretty decent too street/track. She has an 03 R6 for the track, and a 04 R1 for the street.. go Yamaha.. she wasnt racing that day because her R6 had fuel pump issues and would not stay started. But she did take my teammates 636 and do pretty well in Nesba Intermeddiate.. Here are a few pics of her in Nesba Intermediate class on VIR South 3/12/05.

Hey BMF I was given the 8/20 track day at Barber but forgot that I was suppose to get an e-mail from nesba before going. Got to the track from TX's and was SOL on the free track day. I went ahead and paid for the day and road both 8/20 and 8/21. Except for the unbearable heat Barber was awesome as usual. Just wondering if you might have an idea on what happened. I realize I should have remembered about the e-mail confirmation and took care of things before I left but just plane forgot. Thankfully there was open spots and I was able to ride anyway. Thought you might be able to look into it and see if it was a problem on my end. I do believe I'm still I site supporter of Gixxer.com but I may need to renew my dues--not sure though.

Windcraze, same here, Nesba never put the event on my schedule. I ended up paying for it. Oh Well, it was still a good time.

Thanks again Gixxer.com for the free NESBA trackday!!! Rode Full Course yesterday at VIR. It was a bit cold (low 50's) and I learned some valuable lessons on tires. My medium PPR's were about done and stopped hooking up in the afternoon which was pretty interesting. Guess it's a good lesson to find out what it's like when both tires stop sticking. We had quite a few low sides in the afternoon due to cold temps. Overall a good day, just wish it had been a little warmer.
