ok some body help me out here. i'm putting on a 520 chain with a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 49 tooth rear sprocket and the chain i have is about 5 links to long what do I do?????

take it to your local bike shop (a friendly one) with a chain breaker.

tell 'em to remove the requested links for you.

dont pay anymore than, what, $10-$15 ??

I just grind them away with my angle grinder images/icons/smile.gif

i just grinded the top of the pin of the link i needed taken out and pushed it out with a chain breaker
