I have a 750 with Hi point nickel chrome wheels,
I'm wondering if there is a way I can port them
over to a 1000, either 02 or 03 designs.

I know the 750/1000 back rim size is 1/2" difference, but
what about the Hub and axles sizes.. If the wheel will work
but at a different tire profile then i'll use it, because I'm getting old and just want to be pretty http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Or what about the swing arm bolt up designs.. if the rear wheel won't convert over, can i convert the whole swing arm wheel set up?

Or if anyone wants the set for $1000 let me know. They run $2000 new. I'm an ebay power seller with an excellent reputation. I can list them on ebay or sell them direct.

If I correctly understand your post...

You just need the correct spacing. The 750/1000 swing arms are the same, except for some 'internal bracing' (so Suzuki says...never seen one cut in half).

Hmm if the swing arms are the same.. then the wheels should bolt up and be lined up the same correct? And then the wheel is just wider at the RIM and not the hub?

I'm assuming htey are the same in the 02-750 02-1000
now what about the 04 1000? Can I swap wheels,
if not, could i swap swing arm and wheels? from 02-750 to 04-1000?

like I said, my goal is to get the hi point wheels from the 02-750 over to a 1000.. preferably the 04, but if not the 04, then the 02 1000.

For that matter, could I put on an 02 gixxer 600 swing arm onto an 02-1000 or 04 1000? I'm thinking less weight, more top end. Don't have any canyons to carve..

No need to swap anything but the spacers on the wheels. (that the axle slides through.)

Do the Highpoint wheels use stock spacers?

If not than just get the correct ones from HP

I hope so! I don't know yet, I haven't taken a good look.

Thanks!
