I like my micron exhaust that i have on my 954, but i wish it went at a differnt angle(one more lined up with the tail of the bike) and i wish to create my own mid-pipe but i dont know whats involved or how much it would be. has anyone done this? any pics? adivce?

It would be extremely labor intensive if you didn't have your own pipe-bending machine. All you would do is end up kinking the pipe and ruining performance qualities.

I've made some thinggs for my bike, but I wouldn't even consider trying to make a mid-pipe for an exhaust. Plus, it's steel, that shit is hard to bend.

About the Micron pipes, I have seen on several sites that they refused to carry Micron and the dealers in this area also steer away from them. What is the reason for this. I was going to go with one, however, after seeing and hearing this, I'll stick with my D&D.

dont get me wrong i like the color of the pipe and i like the sound, but damn they just dont line up good. I really like smoothe lines and uniform and when the tail is at a certian angle and you have a high mount that is not very colse to that angle it throws of the apperance......it looks (jerry riged).

I love my Micron and would gladly buy another one. I had a D&D full system but it was loud to the point of being annoying.

I origionally had a go myself and TIG welded the joins. Although it looked good i had a word with a guy from a company called "Wunoff" i took the bike and he made it exactly where adn how i wanted it. I could have had the pipe polished but i like the 2-stroke exhaust pipe look. Its started to turn blue now so its looking even better.

Their customer service has been piss poor at times.
Their delivery times suck ass. They have stuff on their shelf but it seems as though the can't get of their asses and get it out the door.
The local dealers have had a lot of problems with getting what they ordered. Dealers and customers get pissed when they order one thing, wait 6 months and not get what they order.
