Hi all, just in the process of prepping my bike to race next year and thought I'd ask a question. If it has any bearing on the question I've already got an Ohlins shock on the bike but haven't had the forks revalved yet. (It's next on the list.)
My bike pushes out wide on the corner exit every time, it turns in nicely but as soon as I hit the apex it starts pushing out, due to this I can't get on the power and end up going slower...
I've set sag at both ends of the bike, tried various levels of comp and rebound but the problem persists all the time. I've tried dialling in another three threads on the shock (so a 9mm rise at the rear) and it made a little, but not a lot, of difference. Turn in is awesome, just can't hold a line through the corner.
On a trackday a little while ago I rode a Mille Factory, the bike was running totally stock settings out of the crate and I could lap a good second a lap quicker than on my bike without actually trying.
Should the revalve give me the elusive feedback I'm searching for or should I expect to concentrate on the setup further?
Thanks all.
