I just signed up for this class. I was wondering is anyone else planning on being there? Also, has anybody taken the course who can give some perspetive on it? I am basically wondering whether it is really worth the money. Let me know. Thanks.

Thanks a lot man. It sounds like it should definitely be worth it. I did 2-3 trackdays this summer so I want to get started early next year. I want to take this one first and then do one or two track days a month for the remainder of the spring/summer. Man I can't wait...

I went in October. The instructors are world class, as you can see by the info on the site. I did learn quite a bit from the school. Too bad that R.A. isn't closer. It is my favorite track.

Let me recommend picking the Advanced grouo if you've had even a single track day before. Most of the people in my class were 50 year old guys who really didn't have shit for skills. Not saying I am so great, just the facts.

I did KSSS at the end of AUgust and had a BLAST. I definately learned alot, and I think it really helped my riding. Now I just went a picked up a salvaged 04 gsxr600 because I fell in love with it at KSSS, and I'll be rebuilding it for trackdays this coming summer.

The instructors are extreeeemely cool, and all have cool stories. Very, very helpful, and they sure know their stuff. And holy hell - they are fast. So have fun - it's definately worth it!

Only a month away. I can't wait. I'm trying to decide now if I should take my own bike or just rent the new GSXR600 there.

What Saturday is that? Are you talking April 23. I just might do that. I've heard a lot about the track but I've never been there. I think b/c of the concrete patches that I hear are in the corners. LOL. Well I think I will sign up. Is that going to be your first one for the year. And by the way, I'll definitely be doing Putnam. That track is awesome.

Yes I will be at Mid OH April 23, and yes that will be my first trackday of the year.

The patches take some getting used to and can cause some wierd sensations but not to bad. The track layout is great and very technical.

Have a good time with K.S. I did codes two day camp at vir in 2002 and loved it, and learned a lot. VIR is still my favorite track.

I will PM you when it gets close to Mid OH and when the Putnam days are.

Sorry didn't see your last question. I run with STT in the advance group. So that I can run with faster guys to help me get faster and to get more comfortable with being passed and closer more aggressive riding around me.

So far best lap at Putnam on GSXR 600 was 1:19s and Mid Oh is 1:47

Hopefully I can get puntnam down to 1:16 and mid oh to 1:40-1:42 range

Hey Snacktime where will you be coming from. I'll be heading to Atlanta via Cincinnati. My girl is going too. Even though she rides an '03 ZX-6R she's either going to rent one of the school's bikes or borrow a bike to take down. Last year I always rode in the Novice groups. This year I am planning on running more with the Intermediate groups so I can get faster. So are you guys doing any other trackdays in between the Mid-Ohio and Putnam days.

My track schedule this year looks like.

Mid OH in April (bikes then go to computrack in Akron for race prep (street bikes gets engine work done to it)

End of May is my annual trip to VIR (best track I have been on so far they only track in the states that might rival it is Laguna and Barber).

June 19 will be one Putnam day and I am going to try to get to Autobahn on June 11 with NESBA ($70 trackday with free trackday promotion through gixxer.com so I can see the track befor August race).

July will only be Race 1 at Mid OH with Wera

August will be Race 2 at Autobahn. and maybe race 3 at Nelson ledges.

Rest of the year will be open for repair or maybe some more track days.
Putnam 24-25 with Cycle Options.
