I just want to know if I can remove the spring through the bottom of the shock so that I do not have to remove the remote reservoir, therefore not needing to recharge it...
How does it all come apart so I don't wreck anything?
any info would be greatly appreciated... and yes, I did search the net, but the Fox site has fuck all for info...

I found something. I know the old viffers used a simpler shock, but I think the basic design should have remained consistant... we'll see....

Please post up if you have any better info

Release the preload on the spring by turning the collar counter clockwise as viewed from the top. It will get easier if you do it right. There is a circlip under the blue spring perch, remove this with you fingers and the spring will come off the bottom. DO NOT REMOVE THE HOSE OR RELEASE THE N2 PRESSURE IN THE RES..

That's what those other instructions said too... Glad to have a confirmation on that... I'm gonna swap the spring this weekend. Thanks http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I was not going to remove that hose anyways, I would have just taken it to a shop if that had to be done http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
