Taking a trip for personal reasons, will be in Houston for 2 weeks with a lot of free time. What is interesting to do in or near the city? Also, what are some good restaurants? Houston favorites? Thanks for your help! I'm leaving at the end of November.

yea kemha would be a cool place to go and eat and hang out. as far as good houston resturants any of the pappa's would be a good choice, pappasitos (mexican) pappadeaux (seafood), and if ya want some awesome texas bbq go to place called GOODE CO. its awesome.

Goode Company is alright but if you want real BBQ for a hell of a good price and the chance to run into a baseball ledgend go to Joe's BBQ in Alvin....
