How much would it cost to have my frame chromed? It is already polished is it worth it? Posting some pics from last winter and early this summer.

I wouldn't bother... If you ride hard then your frame flexes a bit and chrome can crack...

My frame was chrome. I rode hard. 750 frame/1000 motor. Chrome never cracked. As a matter of fact, bike was wrecked, dented the frame and chrome still has no signs of cracking, not even where the dent is. Surprised me actually.

It's the difference between good chrome and bad chrome.

Weeell, how much is it to get the rims chromed? Is it
cheaper to buy a set?

i seriously would advise against chroming the rims, thats if you care about the way your bike handles or anything. A lot more added rotational mass. polish if you must.

and btw, its a bitch to clean. My first bike was completely polished and i spent more time cleaning it than riding. thats the main reason i sold it off.

I have a set in stock ready for exchange for the 01-04 GSXR 1000. Just got them back from chrome about a week ago. Will exchange for $599 plus shipping. Bearings already installed. Send me your good condition wheels and I will send you chrome ones.

Let me know.
