Bastard !! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I want that car soo bad, but I decided against it because I don't think the tongue strength can handle a trailor for me to go to the track. Do you know what it is?

I wanted to get a moto-tote for my X-terra, but Nissan said that the tongue strength on the X is only 350lbs. I'm now thinking about a BMW X5.

I was looking at those Moto_Tote s too. My Pathfinder has a tongue strength of 500lbs. If you add it up...Most sportbikes way 430 lbs wet. Add the 100lbs the Moto-Tote ways (the Sportbike hauling version) and you're already up to 530 lbs.!!!!

I was talking to an aftermarket tow company about the tongue strength and reinforcing to get to a Class IV hitch, they said you shouldn't be taking chances withyour prized posession when you're tight at the tongue weight. So I've opted against it and I still trailer my bike. Know anyone that's had good experiences withthe Moto-Tote?

BTW nice Car. Same issue here...was gonna get a G35 or 3-series or WRX, but I tow bikes, snowboard, and windsurf...I needed a real SPORT utility vehicle.

What did you have wrong with it? Is the X5 suseptable to the same problems? I think they look so nice.
