Hey all, I will be moving to the island of Oahu around may of next year... I will be coming from Japan where I have been living, working, and racing for the past 6+ years.
I have been told by a friend that there is a good shop there called ANDY's performance... Anyone got an e-mail or a number??? I will be coming with a fulled kitted 02GSXR-1000 and a kitted SV650... Both set up for racing..
WHile I am there I will be looking for some sort of truck/trailer combination as well as a daily driver....
Can anyone post some links to homes for rent, cars/bikes for sale, ect.... I am looking forward to riding and racing with you guys...

Beware of Andy's. He did nothing but ding my rims and try to cover it up while berating his employee in front of us all while doing a routine tire change. That's the first and last time I ever went there and I advise everyone I know to steer clear of his shop.
Sounds like you have some nice rides there! We have a local track that you can check out here: www.hrra.net (http://www.hrra.net) . Not like the ones in Japan, but hell - at least we have a track.
See you in May!

I know everyones got there opinions about people... I will check the place out when I get there, as well as the other shops.... I will hopefully try to get a job working at one of them... I have the mechanical and technical experiance with bikes so..
YEa, the track looks a little low quality compared to some of the MOTO-GP track I get to ride on... MOTEGI is my home track so...

Bro, you're going to be really disappointed when you see our track!! But hey, at least we have one, LOL!
I've dealt with Andy before, he's a good guy. Even gives you a discount when you least expect it. There's also RevTek in Waipio, Ted is alright too. But like you said, everyone has their opinions. Let us know when you get here so we can go ride!

He didn't offer a discount after he dinged the fuck out of my rims, chipping the paint...he shoud've, but that's just my opinion. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Oh well, mistakes can sometimes happen...

okay I'll say it, the track downright sucks, but there are some nice rides around the island just so long as the HPD don't try and mess with you.....

Actually, I like our track. It may not be state-of-the-art, but I find it to be a fun, technical course with a good variety of turns. Just need an airfence on the sweeper and it'd be good to go!
