: My Stolen Gixxer Was Recovered (Pics Inside)
fastassgsxr 09-08-2004, 03:00 PM I posted a while back that my 02 750 had been stolen right out of my back yard and I thought I would never see the bike again. But apparently the jerk that stole it was cruising it around in the next town outside of where I live. Cops ended up busting him with a stolen bike and arresting him and recovered my Gixxer. It ended up going back to the insurance company compound and sat there for about a month. I ended up buying back from the insurace company for dirt cheap. Anyhow here's what it looks like now since its been stolen.
PS. Here's what it looked like before it was stolen:

Apparently motor vehicle told me it doesn't need a frame inspection if I want to get it back on the road. Where it looks fuked up on the frame is where they scratched off the vin number. Also motor vehicle also told me if I want to get it back on the road I just have to provide proof of ownership and they'll give me a new vin # since they scratched off the old one on the frame.
gottspeed 09-08-2004, 03:47 PM Fuck it, she cheated on you and caught herpes.
Sell that bitch.
natas 09-08-2004, 03:56 PM looks like a good excuse to turn it into a track bike.
hawaii75_0 09-08-2004, 06:36 PM You probably want to just part it out, you never know what those guys did to the bike beyond the cosmetic stuff, you may be incurring more risk just trying to get back on that thing. Sadly I think she's seen her last ride, with you at least.
my $.02
CanCBR 09-08-2004, 09:45 PM How the hell did they even know that was yours? No Numbers on it anywhere?
Also, WTF is with the serious Ghetto-fying of the bike, it looks more stolen then any bike I have ever seen! I think it's nice you got your bike back and everything, but that thief was an idiot! He should of shot a few cans of Krylon Red spray paint on the fairings, do the frame in black right over the numbers, not attacked it with a angle grider! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bitchslap.gif
I guess some people really are fucking retarded. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bitchslap.gif
caper 09-09-2004, 12:40 AM I'd be willing to take that off your hands. I'm looking for a track bike for next year. If you are willing to sell it for a little above what you got it back for pm me and we can talk. I'm in Nova Scotia so the shipping wouldn't be all that much. Which Province do you live in? I'M SERIOUSLY INTERESTED PM ME!
http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif That poor bike. I'd track it if I were you http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You have a kick ass bike for both street and track ... track it track it track it http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Of course you're going to need to give it a once over just to make sure nothing internal is bust
I love the newer 750 though, what a scheme. It's even nicer in person http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
gixsixkid02 09-09-2004, 01:59 AM Screw the track just stunt that bitch. i'd turn that bike into the #1 stunta. it already looks like it's a stunt bike.
hafizdyfectra 09-09-2004, 02:04 AM What an idiot...Your bike looked so fine and it ended up like this...? Stupid thiefs dont know anything about bikes...
Idiotic Thief http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif

GPD270 09-09-2004, 03:06 AM Damn piss on thieves http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif
numbah1 09-09-2004, 03:31 AM Damn dude... that really sucks. I hate to see any bike in that fashion. Your options are limited to parting her out or making her a track bike.
Although I'd just part her out myself, its obvious the thieves raped the hell outta her. Sell the parts man and use the moolah for upgrades after the insurance company gives you the dough.
Good luck either way. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
Fireblade_Rider 09-09-2004, 03:50 AM WTF did he do to that poor gixxer?

My thoughts EXACTLY. Fix the key shit and throw a bigger sprocket on the back and a 12 bar with an 909 cage and you're ready go. under 5 buck and you got an AWESOME stunter. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif And you don't got to worry about dropping it!
ulose 09-09-2004, 05:26 AM Part it. Make some money!
Kneedown 09-09-2004, 07:33 AM Looks like trash get rid of it
WaynesNside 09-09-2004, 08:25 AM Damn that's crazy they were all over that bike. Stupid ass theives but at least you got it back and I"m pretty sure you can make what you paid for it off of parts or enjoyment of stunt/track bike.
Dangeruss 09-09-2004, 08:27 AM I wouldn't trust it. Part it out if you want and use the money to trick out the new one.

bigbadtravo 11-08-2004, 04:14 PM my bike got stolen in San Marcos, Texas, on 9-17-04, it is a 2001 750 red/black/silver. Also, the same night, an 01 600 yellow/black was stolen from our apartment complex. if anyone knows of any chopshops in the area, scandalous individuals, or anything of the sort, please PM me, or call my cell, (956) 212-5288. Neither of us had insurance on our bikes, and we only had them up here for 4 days. There is a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction, or, a little more of a reward if i get to inflict pain on the thieves before hand.
upper fairing cracked on right side, both side farings scratched, tail new, stock exhaust, flush mounts, new avon front tire, lowered 1inch, flush mounts where the mirrors used to be, blue headlights, 11K plus miles, VIN JS1GR7HA X12100066...ENGINE NUMBER 113124...CONTROL/SEQUENCE NUMBER 216083644. Once again, it was an 01 750 red/black/silver. my cell is (956) 212 5288.
BlackJacket 11-09-2004, 01:52 AM I didnt read the entire post so if someone mentioned it before me, then im sorry. But why not just keep the bike and use it for a track bike or a stunter or something http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif ?
RajunCajun 11-09-2004, 02:11 AM I don't know about ya'll but I think two bikes "R" better than one! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

AustinLeo 11-09-2004, 01:09 PM Man, I don't understand why the idiot thought it was necessary to grind off the Suzuki emblems. As if you can't tell it's a Suzuki?!? So sad to mess up a beautiful bike like that!
Engloid 11-09-2004, 03:03 PM They should have gone ahead and spraypainted "stolen bike" on it....in John Deer Green, of course.
