it must be just me, but I dont think that telefonica is a 1000. The front forks must be off of a 600 or something. The 1000 have inverted forks and gold nitride coating on the fork legs. I could be wrong though.

Well, at least the cowgirl ass is nice.

from the pic it looks like a 600 with a 750 or 1k swingarm.. the only way i can tell you for sure b/c i can distinguish these bike like the back of my hand is if i see it up close b/c there are a lot of differences between these bikes if you pay attention to details...

600 frame, 600, forks, 750 swingarm, 1000 motor. Two quick ways to tell if it has a 1K motor. The 3000ml stamping on the clutch cover as opposed to the 2800ml one for the 600/750s. Also, look for the oil cooler under the rad. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You mean to tell me if the 01 GSXR Tele has the 3000ml on the Crank Case that it is a 1000 Motor... are you sure about this?

first off they didn't make telefonica's in 01. it is a special edition for 2002. i haven't done much work with 750's and don't know the oil capacity on the side of it but am very sure the 1000 capacity is 3000ml.
the other way you can tell is the s.e.t. valve on the exhaust and the oil cooler mounted to the front lower end of the engine.

Do you have any pics of the grind on the inside of the frame?
Can you explain what I have to do in order to put the 03 gsxr1000 engine on the 01 gsxr600 frame...

yeah I would like to see what the brackets look like and what grind that I hear about looks like
