I have an 87 gsxr 750, w/1100 motor, and I want to get it lower to the ground like the newer models, how can I put the 17"s on it or lower it?

you can put a '91 front end on it..everything bolts on...

The only effective ways I can thing of to lower your bike, at least the way I think you want it lowered are-->

-Dog-bones on the rear shock linkage like the drag racers use.

-shorter bodied/spring rear shock

-loosen your triple clamps and let your chassis down...but you may want to shorten the fork springs and put spacers inside to prevent the fender from creaming the oilcooler.

-have your fork tubes shortened, along with everything else.

-Lindemann's out there in california can do all that and they'll do what you want for probably less than $800
