im trying to re-enlist with the army, but due to injuries incurred during my Delayed entry program with the Army, request has been denied. WTF, there talking about draft but wont let the willing go. I think you are the one who's thinking too much into it. You've taken a few innocent comments directed at isolating our true enemies from the populace we're trying to liberate, and imagined them as being some type of anti-war protest.

When I see a post as ignorant as this one, I enjoy trying to find out if the poster has any idea what we're over there for or who we're fighting. And considering the nature of the question, I personally do not think he makes the distinction between Iraqis (the people) and Iraqis (the enemy).

Sorry - but I can't imagine a vet asking for pictures of dead and decapitated bodies to stoke his or her killer instinct. Sounds like nothing but BS to me. Our soldiers do their job and do it well, but I seriously doubt any but a select few elicit any form of true joy or pleasure from witnessing the harsh consequences of combat.

Most of the combat vets I know would rather not have to look at pictures like that. They've seen it all before.
