I know there isn't a lot of room to adjust the front end with the normal set up. But I can't seem to get it set up for me correctly.
The front rebound is on 9 clicks out, preload on 5 and I have 4 lines showing on the top of the forks (is that the damping setting?) I have a sprint steering damper fitted, but set it to low resistance.
My forks feel a bit wobbly at low speeds, could this be the head bearings need tightening, it does clunk a bit when going over bumps! Do I need to take off the tank to tighten it, cause Haynes manual says yes and Clymer manual isn't very clear.
Also, I have a rear 92 shock on my bike. The rebound is set on 3, the damping quite hard and preload I can't change cause the adjuster will not budge with my c spanner.
Any suggestions? I know progressive springs, Ohlins etc would make the world of difference, but I want to make the best of what I have got.
Thanks in advance peeps http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
