Hey all you Austin Riders, where the hell do yall hide at besides 6th street? I heard there is a shutdown airport where everyone practices their tricks. Also I heard there is a place by DELL where everyone races. Has anyone heard of these places or where/when the get togethers are. Please post here so we can organize meetings for all the dragster/ Trickstaz.

Well No racing at the airport but the place by dell and airport your talking about same place. Its off palmer ln. Next time your on 6th or out just ask smeone to tell you where its at. Now as far as drag racing every 1st of the month friday everyone goes to sequin to strip to let em rip. Sorry can't discuss the street racing scene to you but you can just catch some guys to find out

Is there a road race track around the austin area. How about the neariest sportbike school? I used to run my Z28 in autocross/roadrace and now I want to learn how to do it on my bike.

k, first of all, the ppl that show up on wed at vans are mostly car guys. there are a few bikes, but by no means is it a bike meet.

second, if you wanna go to a track school, look up lonestartrackdayz.com or ridesmart.com
both have very comprehensive track schools at local (and not so local) tracks

now, if you want to ride the hill country, i'll stick by my first post. go to cycleforums.com and go to the texas forum inside of "sportbikes"

there are occassionally groups of ppl that meet out at mozarts off of lake austin blvd wed. night. but pls be warned, these aren't the 6th street guys. you show up and try to show off bling bling, you're gonna be shunned. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif they're really cool, most are track day junkies and all around good ppl.

coolio thanks Vixxen. My bike is toast. Hit a damn Semi. It was his fault but I have nothing to ride at this time. The weather just got nice to. Next time around Im going with a 750

damn, that really sucks. glad you're ok. you should get paid quite a bit by the semi. was it negligent driving or what? i'm assuming you weren't on the bike simply b/c that doesn't sound like something anyone would survive.

Yah this dude totally turn from an inside lane and cut me off. I slowed her down to about 10 mph before impact. kissed the flat bed trailer. I let the bike take most of it. People were amazed on how controlled I crashed and I have to say that was my second crash and I am still here with no rode rash. The first one was at 115 mph. I guess I am just a gracefull wrecker. hehehehe.........Will get paid but I am gonna miss out on all this nice weather I have been waiting all summer for.
