Took a long trip and as I usually do I took my Kryptonite disc lock with me for locking the bike up in places where I couldn't secure it to a light pole etc. and use my heavier master lock and cable.

I've had the lock for a year and it was always kind of fussy about unlocking. It always took a minute or so of getting the key placed just right.
Well of course when I am like a thousand miles from home and need the lock to open relatively easily, it refuses. On both keys and both keys still fairly new and not worn out. Lubed up the keys with some soap and worked on the lock for 30 minutes before it decided that it would grant me access to my bike. Another half hour and I would have needed to call a locksmith.
I've given up on these guys. While I don't doubt the ability of the lock to secure my bike, I would really not want to have a cheesy tumbler mechanism
prevent me from using my bike.
I could sent it back, but I really don't want another lock from them.
