i heard that bikes are set for a rider thats about 160 lbs im about 235 and often like to bring along my femalefreind which is about 100-110. any advice on tire pressure or suspension. and where or what springs should i use would be a great help. oh yeah! wat are the consequenses of riding without adjustment?

Changing the spring is not as big of a deal as simply adjusting the shock better for your weight. Also called setting the "sag", etc on the rear shock. If you still aren't happy then try replacing the rear spring.

Riding it without changing it won't do anything to the bike. It will only ride/handle better if it is "tuned" to the weight that is on the bike. I would adjust it to your weight. You won't be carving too many corners two-up, so the handling benefit will be at your weight settings. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
