ebay post 88 1100 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50029&item=2481326 064)

price was decent, was a tad too far away but what the hell my buddy wanted to get into a slabside.

first off, read the ebay description! after many many emails alot was left out, so he wins the auction, we pony up for a 500mi (one way) tour of duty, we finally make it there....... that bike was so not decribed! the whole sub frame was mangled, but he played stupid. by his own admission he added neon lights to the rear inner fender, he had to see the crappy re-welds.... so, the sub frame is trash, bike has been wadded up. and if that wasn't enouph to junk the frame, who ever polished it would, no visable welds were present on the left side of thr frame.... the normal frame lips... gone, the thing looked like a old bar of soap. bike was completely safty wired... looks like a ex-ama bike (also was tapped on the swinger for spools) now the only thigs that are salvageable are the motor, forks, rims, bodywork.... nope, forks were trash (almost came from the factory that way) and most of the bodywork was maire, now down to the motor and rims for $1200, motor did run... not on all four but it did run, it had a dead piston, I would have had to buy it to find out how bad.... sooooo $1200 and I'm looking at a set of rims' forget the tires and rotors mounted on them they were both junk, plus another $200-$250 to pick them up (at $2 bucks a gallon)... yep, we were more than just a little upset, bottom line, you may ask all the questions you like and request all the pics you can get but the seller can skate around it all plus play dumb (the pics were very selective on showing damage) so, we juped into the truck thinking "this dude is hoakie!" and he trys to hold us to the ebay bid and pushes the deadbeat bidder thing in our face, I told him to just tell ebay that item was not as listed and simply pulled out (If he had paypal'd the coin over first as the seller requested and we were stuck with it......someone would have been hurt!) now the dude is STILL being a pain to my freind... sorry had to vent.
