I recently planted my gixxer into the woods... and I don`t know the speed... All I remember was shifting over to fifth after the rev limiter cut inn on fourth gear..
I went out in a right turn, failing to make the whole turn..
a concusion, crushed pride and a dead gixxer later I was out from the hospital
so if anyone know the forth gear top-speed on a standard gear`ed 750 98mod please let me know

I have no idea how fat you were going but thank God or whoever that you are alive and ok. I hope you are not too badly banged up. I have not had a come off yet and am very glad I have not. I hate to see a gixxer destroyed but I am glad that a gixxer lover is ok!! I wish you a quick recovery!

recovery and recovery...I was back working 2weeks later... and I still don`t know how I got so cheep out of it.. I did`nt even have my leather on...
only thing that happened was a scratch`ed right arm, blue arse and a concussion...
my gixxer was slightly more damaged. the whole front suspension was ripped off and the frame got a real good bending... the fuel tank lifted 8-10cm in the rear caused by the bending..
but I am only glad to sit here today realy... how many can say they have crash`ed in 230-250 and got away clean?

In the area of about 130MPH

Mine is modded out, but geared down 1 tooth up front, and it runs 135mph in fourth at redline of 13,500rpm, and that's still like 2,000rpm from the rev limiter.

I'd say about 135-ish too, at least thats what my 600 is geared for. You were lucky dude, real lucky! images/icons/shocked.gif
