I know you are probably sick of hearing about this but, has anyone put the LED bulbs that are equal to a 1157 bulb in their tail light with the Trailer conversion kit. I tried it last night and the ones I got, from Advance Auto Parts, the running light wouldn't work. I tried all kinds of wiring combinations but to no avail. I finally did some modification to the tail light, I put a small marker light from a car in to the tail light and sealed it up. I then hooked the tail lights, w/LED's, up as brake/turn signals. It works really well and the LED bulbs are really bright. And the marker light stays on all the time and lights up teh tail light and tag well. I am very happy with the way it came out. I was just wondering, after the fact, if there was some kind of easy fix I could have done.

Sweet. I never thought about that. I had them on my bike and they were too dim for me to run them as tail light. I should of but a small bulb in the back.

It was really easy to do actually. My bro has a auto collision shop so I snagged a marker light and connector off a totaled car. Drilled a hole right in the middle of the tail light above the tail light holes. Put the light in then sealed it up with some sealant they had at the shop and hook the connector up. It disconnects real quick if i need to take the tail light off and it is weather proof. If the rain ever brakes I will hook up with you guys in Twist club and you can check it out.
