Got a few of these on order if anyone is interested. They are race kit items from the watercooled bikes but fit the oil-coolers just as well. Price around £50.00. Just got to wait to see if they turn up.

How do they work? Spring pushes in on the plunger like stock, then you tighten the lock? Does it have a ratchet too? Do you rotate the crankbackwards to slacken the chain then tighten? Thanks. Looks tits. Troy341

Release the bolt, the plunger goes forward. Then tighten bolt and loosen off a touch. Turn over engine to check no tight spots in cam chain then retighten and do up lock-nut. The plunger has a slope so won't shift at all. Never rotate your crank backwards.

It's got o-rings so doesn't leak oil and uses standard gaskets. The springs is as strong as the normal MCT
