No bullshit at first I was sceptical about the helmet despite everything everybody was saying but after getting it today an riding around with it I might never get a different one. I actually have a peripherall view now! Its awesome an I felt like a lil kid when I got it. Absolutely awesome helmet.
The transition visor lives up the all the hype an more. Plus the anti fog is great.

I had the vortex and didn't like it at all, was very upset with bell (since it was my very first bell) and sold it but that was until I tried the RS-1 and I Love that helmet.

looks good. i used to have a Speed and Strength helmet and it didnt have the best side vision. my AGV K3 has great vision all around and im happy with that ! hope that helmet works out for you.

My buddy has a Vortex and I have an RS-1. Both of us have the transition shields. The Vortext is definitely a nice helmet, especially for what you pay for it. However, you can definitely tell the difference in quality when looking at the two lids side by side.

There's nothing better than the transition shield, though. Enjoy the helmet and ride safely :thumbup

I just picked up the RS1 for $300 bucks. I was looking at the bell star but it was 540 bucks and the was just a little too much for any helmet IMO.

I hope it it a sweet lid.

No worries :cheers. You're far enough away that people won't confuse us on the road. On GDC it might be another issue though. :dunno

Look on the bright side I think that they only made about 150 of these so we shouldn't have too many problems like this.
