i have a 92 gsxr 750 , tore it down to go through it found all kinds of hack shit done , now i need to know if it is normal for the swing arm to have a 1/4" of slop ( moves side to side ) or if there is a bushing kit i will need to install ? thanks

no slop should be caps on the ends off the swingarm

caps are there

either the pinch bolt through the chassis is incorrectly torqued, or the bearings in the arm are pooched would be my guess as to the things i would determine to begin with.

it amazes me the lateral movement of the swingarm from the swingarm bolt to needle bearings then the swingarm preloaded adjustment reduces movement by a large amount
