I've got a Yosh RS-3 slip on on my 96' 750. It's pretty good. Yes, it performed much better after a Stage 1 Dyno Jet kit was installed. I myself though do like the sound of the Arrow pipes. Only have heard the full systems though, don't know if it would sound a little different with just the slip on. Either way, its more of a "look, sound" thing than a performance thing when just adding a slip on.

Personally I would go for the Yoshi, I love the nioise - way more classy that the Akropovic - and I have had both.....
Power wise I understand that there is nothing to choose between them

I had a Arrow full system...it sounds really mean..I get compliments all the time...
Arrow also constructs their headers different...they utilize the 1&4 2&3 setup....

Full System or slip on?
Yes both Yosh and Akra are great.
Other brands not to leave out would be:
Hindle
Micron (mmm colored carbon)
Devil Exhaust
Arrow
Also head over to http://www.bikesounds.com and they have some mp3's with differen't systems and differn't bikes.

Just a slip on really.
Is it wise to rejet after fitting a slipon on the SRAD or is all well?
We cant really get hindle over here unfortunately :/
So itll be:
Yoshi
Akrapovic
Arrow
Just wondering which sounds best and suits the bike most,
Thanks

I agree with all of the above and like my yosh duplex also. Oct 99 Motorcyclist mag did a 12 pipe comparo on the 99 gix 750 and all the above pipes (with a FI remap) raised the peak power form 115 to around 122 hp. You can probably order the Hindle directly from them in Canada, international phone calls are not hard (maybe no VAT that way?). images/icons/wink.gif
