I just installed my Dynojet Kit 3149 STAGE 1 and K@N Filter with a Vance and Hines SS2R Bolton pipe ,I followed instructions exactly as they say here http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/3149.pdf with the dj132 on the outside cylindersand the dj130 jets in the inner cylinders and the bike feels the same.
Has anyone installed this jet kit or any other Dynojet kit on their 1997 750 and seen any difference? What were your power gains if so ? Throttle response?
Any tips or tricks so I can gain my 5-8 hp that this kit is supposed to produce?I tried it on the quarter mile and did exactly the same time as before. Please help I just spent 900.00$ for everything
Thanks..

jet kits dont really increase power (unless it was running very lean or rich on topend) what it does do is smooth out the power delivery right throughout the rev range.. I have full muzzy race system + K&n filter, in cold weather it would get flats spots between 4-6k revs, the stock jets could not be adjusted anymore, after installing a factorypro jet kit it smoothed it all out and has lil more kick on top end (because it was running lean)

I have the Dyno jet in my 96' 750 and as Drizzt stated, it will smooth out the power along the whole rpm range. I noticed it was more responsive in the 3500 and up range. No more bog then boom. Maybe a little more horse like 2-3 hp but much smoother.

Dude the first thing you need to do is get that vance&hines pipe off. Those pipes do not make any more hp than the stock pipe.I have a 96 750 and I put a yosh duplex on and rode for awhile but the bike was surging bad so i biught a factory jet kit and i could tell a difference immediately.I figured i probonly picked up about 3-5 hp.But i think your problem is the pipe
