Checking dates for the 2-yearly now 2012 GSX-R /RR/RK meeting in Germany with mr. racing-show.com Klaus Kiefer, he mentioned name Tim from UK and his mate (must be Darren ?) who apparently also have plans to show up. I 'm wondering if that (obvious) is you ... sign of life please and then we can communicate via email and phone ... awaiting :cheers

Talking to Klaus most likely it will be the 14/15th of July 12 ... alternative 21st/ 22nd of July 12
He will confirm a.s.a.p., for support act he cannot contact Suzuki Germany before the 9th of January 12 and also needs to check the calenders of the former German Superbike St*rs to make sure they can attend too ... so we will wait
At work in July 12 there will be no options for anybody else to NOT BE AT WORK (yup I can be a dictator) ... it's my turn now ... I'm " the Dornboss"
As per my email " Be there " a 85/86 oilcooled GSX-R will be standby for you ... :biggrin
You can choose ... a German one, a Dutch one ... euh D comes before G ... so that issue is solved ...
I will also have to bring the Australian flag then ...

Pics of that bike owned by Klaus I have posted every now and then in threads on this forum. In due time we might receive some more ...
I know that there was a Australian rider that even tried the seat of it ... sure he got pics ... to be continued

An Australian boy did get to sit on a piece of GSXR history. Still trying to catch up on 3 weeks away from home/work, but here's a happy snap of the XR51, Klaus and yours truly.

Sorry Hans, been really busy lately (which is why I've only just seen this thread :sad) and we had to abandon plans to go to the RR meeting. I emailed Klaus to let him know.

pic of buddy Rudi 's 1985, he covered about 1500 kms that weekend and got " soaked " both travelling days ... GSX-R did well :punk
