So after having my 2004 GS500Ffor about a year and logging in about 4,000 miles I decided to move on to a bigger bike. a 2004 GSXR 750. I brought her home last night. I drove her 25 miles back to my house. I must say im absolutly in love! Even in last gear she just wants to keep going and going. The mechanic who inspected it helped me out alot at Ride Now in Boulder hwy Las Vegas. His name was Tim.
I threw in a brand spanking new battery. I could tell the old one was going to be dying soon, and this weekend she will be getting a fresh new set of Dunlop Q2's, and all new fresh fluids, including some Amsoil Sythetic oil. Below I have some pictures from when I pulled in last night. Please disreguard the sticker on the wind screen and the squidish spike on the front of the bike. I removed those as soon as I got home! So tacky!
The bike has only 7559 Miles! I scored her for 4k
By the way, I had one more question. Is it normal for the clutch to be a little stiff? Is it the oil? Or is there a way to adjust it?

nice bike
my fav color that year
Welcome to GDC
Congrats!
The clutch - stiff is relative :giggity A bike with more power needs a more heavy duty clutch so the 750 clutch will be considerably heavier than the one on the 500 by necessity.
If it feels unnaturally stiff (:giggity) start by lubing the clutch cable (is a good idea in any case). WD-40 is good for that. Unbolt the lever and take it off the cable, then squirt WD-40 down along the inner cable slowly and work it as much as you can. It'll penetrate all the way down eventually.
Lots of :giggity in this post :lmao

Damn man, the 04-05 has a killer style. By far my favorite, but the 01-03's are good too =]

I think the 01-03's are ugly. 04-05 is by far my favorite style of all the gsxrs

Yeah, start by lubing up the clutch cable to see if that fixes your issue.
On another note, that is one rocket launcher of a pipe!!! Nice bike, though. You got the best year :biggrin

GDC is getting lazy or soft. Years ago, the worst thing you could do was to upload a picture of your face....it would get photoshopped to hell.

I noticed that you have frame sliders with metal on the end. I remember reading that those commonly caused your bike to hook as its sliding down the street and causing your bike to flip.

Really? I will have to take a look into getting some better sliders then. Any recommendations on a slider and a good online store to get them from?

Both my K4-K5 Gsxr's have had stiffer clutches than my R6 so don't sweat it. I put a easy pull clutch lever on there and it fixes the problem perfectly......and relatively cheap.
