time to replace the ol' chain on the gix only prob. is that i am a retard. I need to know what type of chain to replace with. Not looking for the world greatest racing chain. Something stock would be fine for me. Sprockets are factory so chain will need to be factory size too, just don't know what that size is. Preciate it fellas. RADSRAD P.S. Everything you should need to know about the bike is in my sig.

Hey bro, thanks for the tip, but I'm really just looking for my factory chain. I've got the numbers from gixxer.coms spec pages, but that doesn't seem to help me much. Thanks RADSRAD

Wether ya get a 520, or the stock size..get a DID X Ring, with a Rivet master link..while yur replacing the chain..it's a good idea to replace the sprockets asa well...unless they are new... images/icons/grin.gif

i am with hammer on this, on my gixxer, i use DID ZVM (very good chain).. next one down is the DID VM which is also rather good, i use that on my TLR and it has last 18000km's of wheelie practice, fast riding, commuting, and steel sprockets..

I have actually heard alot about the DID chains and all good stories. I think thats what I'll do. The 520 conversion may be in the future but for now I'm thinking stock chain size. However I don't know what my stock chain size is. Anyone???RADSRAD
