Here are some pics where i mouted the solenoid, the NX Pressure gauge and some pics of my fiberglassed bottle holder i fabbed myself. Its a very tight fit because the undertail raised the inside of my truck. I had to cut some of the cowl bracket also so it wouldn't hit the bottle valve when i closed it. I also installed some orange LED's just to remind me that i have the nitrous armed. I also installed a WOT switch (not shown in the pictures).

A friend of mine has NOS on his R1. He has the bottle clamped to his swingarm. I'm not a big fan of the look but people know not to fuck with that bike at least http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Does anyone know how to turn the siphon tube inside the nitrous bottle. When i hook up the nitrous line i have to have the bottle turned a little to the left and the siphon tube is not pointing strait down. I got the valve off the bottle but i can't seem to turn the siphon tube. ANyone know how to do this?

Hopefully i can get it dynoed soon so i can get the correct A/F ratio. I want to take it this week since i'm off. I'll let you know what hp i get with it if i get time and if weather permits me to ride it to akron.

Awesome, just out of curiousity how much does that nitrous set up cost and how long it take you to fit?

Yeah, what he said and ease of installation out of 5?

Well it took me a while to make the bracket and get everything to fit neatly. I mean if you just want it installed i would say 3 hours. But i had to make a WOT switch bracket and make the bottle bracket out of fiberglass. I would rate installation of a 2 with some knowledge of wiring. It cost me about 400 dollars and that included the nitrous gauge and a WOT switch and the relay and relay wiring harnes. Its really not hard to install it.

Thanks for the reply, please post a follow up if you get it dyno'd it would be interesting to see just what the difference is.

I finally got the pictures taken of my setup. I will post it up this afternoon when I get to my home computer. By the way, I like the LED's. Did you mount any in the front of the bike or just in the storage area near the solenoids? I was trying to figure out the same thing about moving the siphon tube. I will probably take mine to the local shop here that sells Nitrous kits and see if they can move it for me. I'll let you know how it goes. So have you used it yet?

I'd like to know the kind of power you're putting down with these kits. My buddies are stepping up with 1000s this year and it would be hilarious to see a little 600 keeping up or passing the big boys. I have nitrous on my Cobra, and was considering either a 1000 motor swap or a turbo but if nitrous is able to put down consistent power, why not!

I like that gauge you got there... that's what I have to get... it sucks to figure out I'm using it when the tank goes empty http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for the reply Mike, 400US sounds pretty sweet please do let us know how it performs http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The gauge does not tell you if your out of nitrous. It will tel you what PSI your running if you have nitrous in yoru tank. It will still tell you you have 1000 psi even if there is no liquid nitrous in the tank. You have to go by bottle weight on that one.

My apologies for bumping this but did you ever get the bike dynoed? would like to know how much extra hp was squeezed out of that motor
