I just had an encounter with a guy who just bought a GSX-R 600 (at least a 2001) for $1500. YES, that's what he said. This guy know's nothing about bikes, whatso ever. He called it a GSXR 900 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bs.gif Anyway, he said he just bought the thing as he was coming out of a VONS http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. From a guy who had to sell it quick cause he needed the money. So inconspicuously(sp?) I go around to the back and got the plate#.

So if anyone had a B/W, GSXR 600 stolen with the plate# 16E8494, Let me know.

Ya know a quick call to the local P.D. would probably be of more use. They can run the plate to see exactly what its status is.

Had a friend run the plate.... not listed as stolen so he might have been just think in the head.
