If the bike is at a stand still. I might as well forget it it doesn't want to go into neutral. What should I do? images/icons/confused.gif speeder 04-09-2002, 10:02 AM Sounds to me like the hub in the clutch assembly is worn, preventing the plates from seperating when you disengage the clutch. I had the same problems. Had to replace the inner hub and use a file to clean up the basket. I bet if you kill the motor in gear it easily pops into neutral. Also what you can try to do, when the bike comes to a stop, burp the gas. this should to make the clutch slip more. I'll probably lube the cable, and check the clutch housing, even though I have no clue what to look for. speeder 04-09-2002, 01:48 PM Again I think that sounds like the clutch is not disengaging.
