My new dig cam will take movies and save them in a MOV format. Is there anything out there that I can change the format? Also something that is easy to cut the vids into chunks so it's easier to send them over e-mail?

Windows movie maker is an ok free editor

Adobe Premeire is top of the line for full fledge video editing.

There is a program called ez video splitter, can download it at download.com i believe. Lets you specify how big the files chunks will be, or just split into as many parts as u want. I think its only a 30 day trial though, but u can just download it again after!
