I was at the ama races this weekend at the California Speedway.... great fun it wuz...

After the races, I visit the manufacturer booths and talk to one of the "people" in the Suzuki suits...

I ask "What's the difference between a Ca model and a 49-state for my bike, a Ca '00 gixxer 600. I want to switch to a 49-state config."

Suzuki Man: "Not Much, why do u want to do that?"

Me: "Well I lose 8hp, isn't that right?"

Suzuki Man: "Just put a pipe in it, it'll add horsepower"

Me: "Duhhh oh ok....thanks...that's great... I'm sure that will cure it....I'm gonna go get me some popcorn." [gone]

Suzuki Man: [looks at me like I'm an idiot]

My thoughts: "I'm sure a new pipe will add the 8hp I need -- almost 10% of my bikes power it'll add eh?.......CAN YOU SPELL DUMBSHIT?!!!! And u r wearin a Suzuki suit!"

So does that mean if you switched to 49 state and got a pipe you would have 16 more horsepower.
