could be. close the program and try it real quick. also, do you have any browser plug-ins?

i shut zonealarm down and it didn't help. browser plug-ins?? refresh my memory with an example. i'm not sure. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's an animated gif. Do you hit stop when the page is loading? That would cause them to stop moving.

Other than that.. sounds like something is causing the stop command to happen. what browser and os do you use?

Try updating your IE...or reinstall it... oooorrr... grab Opera and install it just to see if they'll work in another browser.


Internet Options/Advanced/Multimedia/Show Animations is checked correct? Try unchecking it and restart, then check it back again and restart... (I know it doesn't require it, but MS tends to take settings better with a restart, in my experience anyhow).

yes it is checked and unchecking it didn't help. i tried with netscape and it wont work either.
