One of my long time riding buddies was taken from us last Monday. He was well known in the local motorcycle community and always a pleasure to be around. The man put the core in hardcore when it came to motorcycling. Street, track, dirt, sumo, dual sport. He did it all. I've known people who've died in a motorcycle wreck but none of them hit home at a personal level. His passing has definitely put a new perspective for me towards riding in general. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Sergio aka "mrlopez" was an avid member on our local riding forum (centralvalleyriders.com). The community showed great support at his service and even though the family have every right to hate motorcycles they completely embraced his passion. Here are some pictures of Sergio and also from his Funeral.

Every time I look at this picture with his daughter standing next to his ZX brings a tear my eye. The man was such an awesome Dad and he absolutely loved his little girl. She just recently started riding her self.
