So I learned today that I have a salvage title, not a clean title. Imagine my embarrasement as I returned the money. Oh well, I guess it is better now that I will probably NOT be selling my bike. What exactly does a salvage title mean? Legally and resale value wise. I did a quick search and found 00' 750's and 01's in perfect shape for around my asking price (which I thought it had a clean title for) and I got mismatched body panels!!! Man... I need a car... images/icons/frown.gif

Some salavage titles will not allow the bike to be street legal again.
I did some research on it and gave up on it. It seems some people at the MVA know less about it then I did.
If you need a ride to look at a bike. Give me a hollar. I can swing by. Mind you I am on call most times so. I can't always drop everything to go out. I can however, take you if you give me enough time to get some one to cover my shift. Generally, about a week. I can squeeze in a pinch if I need too.
