heya.... i got a 97 Gixx 750.... and the girl's very hard to start...
it seems she gets flooded every time or something... and when it finally starts, it's got the tendency to die, unless i keep on the trottle... NE ideas?

Everytime you start it? Just when it is cold? once it is started does it smoke, if so what color?
When was the last time you changed plugs? Maybe your coils... what about your air filter?

Are you using the choke when you try to start it?
I would also say your floats might be off a bit.

plus i have noticed that you can't give it gas to try to start it(if you do, it has to be little); it likes to flood if you turn the throttle over too much.

Sometimes it gets hard to start if ur carbs need syncing. Have u noticed if ur tickover has been a little crap recently this would usually indicate the same thing, might be worth checking out too.
