Refresh your cookies. If that doenst work, ide download Ad-Aware by lavasoft, and SpybotS&D, they're anti-spyware software. Update the updates frequenly and run at least once a week. Its like antivirus, but deletes bug tracking and advertising software. also go into start>programs>accessories>systemtools>disk cleanup and delete the temp files

Why? IE works. Its the stuff that gets installed because of user "error" that breaks IE.

You got to be joking mtmra IE is so full of security holes its unreal.
Try Firefox from the same people as mozilla it nice and quick you got no unwanted pop ups, also download spyblaster it prevents spyware from getting on in the first place. I run SpyBot as well to make sure nothing gets though

You dont get unwanted popups...but you also dont get wanted popups. I have yet to get anything via IE because of a security hole. Im not one of those users that hits yes to every pop-up, thats how 95% of the people get infected, user stupidity.

I agree, IE has way too many security holes too often. Like these http://search.us-cert.gov/query.html?col...rset=iso-8859-1 (http://search.us-cert.gov/query.html?col=csalrts&col=csbulls&col=tcsalrts&co l=vulnotes&qt=internet+explorer+exploit&charset=is o-8859-1)

I like running mozilla because it's less bloated, more secure, features popup blocking built in, and supports tabbed browsing (something that most people get hooked on once they try it). Plus if you use mozilla firefox it has the google bar built in.

Have you used Firefox? It blocks unrequested pop-ups so if click on something that is a pop up it still works. Not clicking everything with pop-up might stop some adware being installed but its not going to do a lot to stop a hacker from getting in your machine,
