I have a 96 GSX-R750 that makes a flutter noise.
It may be the cam tensioner problem, but I don't think so. I'm not sure if I hear it all the time, or if its just on days I don't open the bike up. I usually only hear it when I'm between 4-5k (mostly because the exhaust is too damn loud, and it's that quiet)after the bike has warmed up. It's a quiet Fltftftftftftftft noice when I rev the engine with or without the clutch in.

I was reading in the old posts maybe a exhaust leak. I'll check for that tomorrow. I have a Micron Full exh. system (bought the bike used, with the exhaust).

I was just looking for initial reactions to this problem. thanks in advanced.

If it only does it when you accel and not decel, then I would look at the EX leak... If it does it durring decel, then I would look at the CCT

I went out today, Not a hard ride, but I got the revs up. No noise! maybe it's not properly lubricating the valves or something?

One of the things with the auto CCT is that it will work sometimes, then others not work...
