Did not know the guy, but my condolences go out to his family and friends.
He must have been doing at least 80 to 100mph when he ran that red light and crashed into that truck because the impact was so strong it made the truck roll over. Yes, it was a stupid choice that cost him his life, luckily the people in the truck weren't severely injured.
