All I can say is wow. I'm not new to sportbikes as I've had R1's, Ducati 996. and so on... I had trouble making up my mind on what bike to get as it's been 4 years I haven't ridden. I went back and forth reading any review and supersport as well as superbike shootouts.
I ended up with the GSX-R600 and glad I did. Best bike I've ever owned.
Now I know allot will say why not the 750. To tell the truth it came down to sorry to say color. I'm not a fan of flat color and the blue 750 had a section so then I saw the black. I do like black but you can see a mark 20 yards away and your always polishing. So the 600 it was.
I don't race or do track days and the 600 is as much bike as I will ever need.
To enjoy the twisties and just enjoying the ride.
The only mods I will do is add a Yosh slip on, yosh undertail bracket for my plate and the solo seat cowl. To bad the this is the first year you didn't get it with the bike. So far the only negitive is the frame painted blue seems to come off, The didn't powercoat?
Anyway glad to be part of Gixer Family.
