ok so my 750 came brand new with a Yoshimura r-77 slip-on, and i was looking at the website and saw a dynograph that has to three numbers on it: Stock, Slip-on, & Slip-on w/ insert.
ive looked all over the website and i cant find anything about how to find the insert and take it out or even if i have one. anybody know about this?

The insert is a db killer (makes it more quiet). If it came with the insert installed it can be easily removed. Somewhere at the exhaust tip, there will be a set screw or a place to put a set screw. The insert would slide in the muffler tip and gets held in w the screw.
The insert would look like a short piece of pipe (maybe 4" long or so), closed at one end and usually has holes or baffles along the piece. The exit end should have a flange welded to it where that set scew threads into.
Look down your tailpipe. If you can see right through, then no insert.

When I opened mine, the insert was not in the pipe, it was in a bag in the box.

Didn't you get a Suzuki can opener with your new bike?

Looks like I got some mileage out of my PIC -Only applicable with stock system

the cat is a major dampener on the exhaust note. I went with the full Yoshimura R-77D and a bit loud. The 'D' does not offer the insert.

WOW Killeen TX.. i remember all the nights hanging out at Cat customs on rancier... lots of good riders... lots of parking lot pimps... lots of squids that want to make their ears bleed with loud ass pipes... sell the yosh and get a D&D all the parking lot pimps wanted to roll with anyways... lol

I bought the slip-on, there was a link on here for a mid-pipe that does away with the cat, here is the link. http://shop.ttuners.com/product.sc?productId=49&categoryId=24

I was wondering if you noticed any increase in power with the yosh R77-D full system? I am ordering the same system for my 2011 GSXR 600 next week. I was also wondering if it weighed less than the stock system? I'm more concerned with performance than sound.
