long story short im running a friends takeoffs this season. the normal rear tire size is 195 /60 /16.5. the last tire i just put on the bike is a 65 series.. its 10mm's taller in diamter than the 60. i plan on lowering the rear of the bike by 5mm's to keep my geometry in the same zone as it was with the 60 series but what is the benefit of running a 65.. is it more flex in the tire allowing more grip before breaking loose? im really just curious. i know this isnt a chassis thing(although it does have an effect on geometry), but i would think gmd might know this anyway..
